The Stanly County Chorale will soon begin rehearsals for its spring concert season, “A Night at the Tonys: Broadway’s Best!”
“This season, we’re celebrating over 50 years of Tony award-winning musical theatre,” says Lisa Ewers, director of the Chorale. “There is such a rich and magical music library available thanks to Broadway. We are excited to share a small portion of that library this season.”
Rehearsals begin at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 7 (on-site registration begins at 6 p.m.) at First Baptist Church, Albemarle.
Performances are scheduled for April 5-6 .
All interested singers, high school-aged and older, are invited to join the group and can pre-register through the registration link on the Chorale’s website www.stanlycountychorale.org or the Stanly County Chorale’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/stanlycountychorale.
Singers do not have to be residents of Stanly County; residents from Montgomery, Anson, Cabarrus and Rowan Counties are always welcome.
