Tillery Compassionate Care has the following meetings planned:
• 5:30-7 p.m. Dec. 9 – Angel Tree Lighting – Join for an evening of music and honoring your loved ones during the holiday season.
Enjoy cookie decorating, Santa and Mrs. Claus and vote on your favorite trees in the Festival of Trees.
• 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 – Holiday Luncheon at Grace Baptist Church. Join for holiday games, songs, prizes and laughter. Bring a side or main dish to share. No cost. Register by Dec. 9.
• 30th Anniversary Hospice Angel – Purchase an angel to honor or remember a loved one this year. Volunteers hand-craft each angel.
Cost is $12 check or cash ($13 online). Call 704-983-4216 or purchase online.
• The 2024 Festival of Trees will be held at the Stanly County Commons.
More than 50 Christmas trees will be displayed during December at no cost to the public.
