Bramlett named grand marshal for Albemarle Christmas Parade

Pat Bramlett has been named grand marshal for the City of Albemarle’s 2024 Christmas Parade.
The parade will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 14 in downtown Albemarle.
Bramlett has devoted her life to education and community service.
Bramlett’s career in education spanned from preschool to secondary levels, where she worked with students of all abilities. She was an advocate for technology in education, serving as one of the first computer lab instructors in Albemarle City Schools and organizing the inaugural Summer Computer Camp for elementary students.
Bramlett also held leadership positions as the director of programs for exceptional children for both Albemarle City Schools and, later, the merged Stanly County Schools.
Her dedication to the youth of Stanly County continues through her involvement with the Daughters of the American Revolution – Yadkin River Patriots Chapter, where she helps honor students with the Good Citizen Award.
Bramlett also volunteers with several community organizations, including the Stanly County Sports Hall of Fame, Keep Stanly Beautiful, the Stanly County Historical Society, Pfriends of the Pfeiffer Center for Health Services, and the Stanly County History Center. Additionally, she is a supporter of the arts and remains actively engaged with local arts organizations.
Bramlett was chosen as the 2024 Albemarle Christmas Parade Grand Marshal following nominations from community members.
