Locust Parks & Recreation invites families, individuals with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities and community members to join the city for an open conversation.
This is an opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and feedback on how the city can redesign the park to better meet the needs of all visitors.
The discussion will be 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday at Officer Jeff Shelton Memorial Park Shelter No. 2.
Individuals can share their experiences from the park and ideas for improvement. It will include discussion on how to create spaces that are accessible to everyone.
Another opportunity for input will be available at the city’s tent at the Christmas tree lighting event in Town Center 5-8 p.m. Nov. 21.
