In unofficial election results from the Stanly County Board of Elections, Jerry Williams, Karen Faye Love and Andrew W. Cave were elected to Stanfield Town Council.
Williams led the way with 604 votes (33.69%), just beating out Love’s 601 votes (33.52%). Cave had 544 votes (30.34%).
There were 44 write-in votes, 2.45%.
