How can any NC voter even begin to think about voting for a candidate for NC Superintendent of School like Michele Morrow when she attended and supported the Jan. 6 Capitol riot with her oldest children, a riot that attempted the overthrow of our electoral process?
When such a person has never supported public schools, denigrates them, calling public schools “socialism centers” and “indoctrination centers.”
When she has called for the former president to put “the Constitution to the side” and use the military to stay in power.
When she has called for former President Obama to be executed by firing squad in a televised pay-per-view event — among other violent, treasonous and bizarre statements.
In contrast, Mo Green is an attorney and superintendent who led two of NC’s largest school systems.
He served as ED of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, one of NC’s largest philanthropic nonprofits.
He supports better funding for public schools, better support for teachers, as well as celebrating public schools and returning them to the center of community life.
How can anyone not see the drastic difference in who cares about your children and mine?
Vote for Mo Green, who wholeheartedly supports our public schools and our Constitution.
