The City of Albemarle’s Public Housing Department has opened its Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for Section 8. Individuals who previously applied are encouraged to re-apply.
Applications will only be accepted with proper documentation such as Birth Certificate, ID and Social Security Cards for all of those that are applying.
The Housing Choice Voucher wait list opened on Oct. 14, and will remain open until 5 p.m. Oct. 21. All applications are due at that time.
Applications can be found online at www.albemarlenc.gov/section8 or in-person at the housing office at 300 S. Bell Ave., Albemarle.
