A fall festival is planned for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Oakboro District Park, 523 S. Main St., Oakboro.
It will include vendors, pumpkin painting, axe throwing, bounce house, fairy hair, face painting, food trucks and more.
