One injured in Albemarle crash between tractor trailer, moped

Albemarle Police responded to a crash on U.S. Highway 52 and West Main Street at approximately 7:21 a.m. Thursday involving a tractor trailer and a moped.
The operator of the moped was transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, according to Albemarle Police.
The moped operator will face several charges including failure to stop at a red light and other motor vehicle violations.
