Business owner Allison Hudson Mingle has announced that Rise Yoga and Will’s Place will host events on Sept. 21.
While many of the activities have a fee, there are a few that are free to the community.
The Rise Yoga Fall Wellness event at 540 N. First St., Albemarle, will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An early bird ticket is on sale for $65 through Aug. 31.
Visit www.riseyoga-alb.com to purchase a ticket.
The Rise event will begin with a group meditation session at 8 a.m., which is free.
Paid attendees will have the opportunity to take part in four classes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A bagged lunch is provided.
“Once they purchase a ticket to the event, they will receive a Google doc form via email to select their classes,” Hudson-Mingle said. “We have over 20 class offerings and workshops that day all geared towards yoga, and holistic wellness that one can sign up for. We did an event in the spring and it was a huge hit and we are bringing it back in the fall.”
Classes available include chai making, self defense, healing art, yoga philosophy and others.
The event will have a sound healing bath in the garden at 4 p.m., free to the public.
Will’s Place will have a sidewalk vendor market as well that day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
