Miss Lake Tillery Karie Grace Shields is collecting stuffed animals through Aug. 31 for Awaken Your Wonderfulness, an organization founded in 2020 to meet the needs of children during disastrous times. All monetary donations will be used to purchase stuffed animals. All stuffed animals will be donated to hospitals, first responders and various organizations to serve as transitioning objects to help children.
