Stanly County Fire Marshal’s Office has determined that a fire Tuesday morning was created by an electrical source.
The fire was on Claude Lee Street in Norwood shortly after 3 a.m.
Center Rural, Aquadale and Southside volunteer fire departments were dispatched initially, with Mt. Gilead later requested for additional response.
The home was not occupied at the time and a dog that was tied up behind the house was rescued, Fire Marshal Evan Faulkner said.
