Albemarle Police respond to shooting

The following statement from Albemarle Police was just released:
At approximately 10:25 a.m. Wednesday the Albemarle Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 1400 block of North Sixth Street. Upon arrival officers found one victim who was deceased.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. As additional information develops, it will be released.
