Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Norwood Police Department officers were dispatched to a shots fired call with a subject having been shot on the 300 block of North Kendall Street, the police revealed in a Facebook post late Thursday.
Upon arriving the suspects had already fled the scene on foot as well as the individual who had been shot. A short time later four suspects were taken into custody. At least one of the suspects is a juvenile, with all persons being residents of Albemarle.
The alleged victim in the case has been transported for medical treatment.
Police are not releasing the names of suspects and victims as the investigation continues.
