Pfeiffer Women’s Golf finishes 7th

The Pfeiffer University women’s golf team finished seventh at the Camp Lejeune Collegiate at the Paradise Point Golf Course aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
The Falcons were led by freshmen Kirstyn Page and Caroline Wright, as they both shot a three-day total of 247 to finish 34-over par and in a 21st place tie in the field of 54 golfers. Wright would have the low round for the Falcons on day one, as she carded a seven-over par 78.
As a team, the Falcons placed seventh out of 11 teams while playing at the par 71, 5,505-yard Paradise Point Scarlet Course.
Sophomore Ruth Anne Asbill finished in a tie for 33rd place as she had a three-day total of 253 (+40).
The Falcons will return to play in their final tournament before the USA South Tournament on April 15-16 when they host the Falcon Women’s Shootout at the Colonial Country Club in Thomasville.
