Church has chicken fundraiser

Union Chapel Methodist Church on the U.S. Highway 52 bypass, Albemarle, will have a barbecued chicken meal beginning at 11 a.m. Oct. 6.
Plates consist of half a barbecued chicken, homemade potato salad, green beans and homemade desserts for $12.
