Norwood Fall Fest Hootenanny will include chili, music, movie

The Norwood Fall Fest Hootenanny will bring a slew of events together from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Norwood farmers market on Campbell Street in Norwood.
At 10 a.m., Norwood Library will host Dennis Hamann, author of “Cottonville Road,” for a presentation and book signing.
The chili cook-off contest will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Judging by a panel of five judges will begin at 1:30 p.m., with winners announced at 2:30 p.m. A grand prize of $350 is offered.
A vendors fall market, sidewalk gaames and cornhole are planned for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cloggers will perform 1-4 p.m.
For bluegrass music fans, Carley Hatley & Rocky River will perform at 1 p.m.
Food trucks will be available 2-7 p.m.
To conclude the event, a showing of the movie “Casper” will begin at 6:30 p.m.
