The three-time defending state champion West Stanly softball team defeated Bandys 6-0 to keep its 25-game win streak alive.
The Colts (25-1) picked up four runs in the second and two runs in the third Friday night at home to beat the Trojans (20-5).
“Friday night, just like the games before, was a team effort,” head coach Emily Smith said.
Lily Huneycutt threw a perfect game with 15 strikeouts, Smith said.
“She really just had command of the pitches all night,” Smith said. “I think the girls have stepped up the intensity in the playoffs.”
The Colts will now host Maiden (20-3) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
“Everybody at this point in the playoffs are going to be a really strong team,” Smith said. “We’ll just have to continue staying focused and play our best softball.”
