Tour de Frog Pond to benefit Relay For Life

The 9th Tour de Frog Pond/Cycling for the Cure Bicycle Ride will be May 20, beginning at 9 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro.
The ride, which features well-stocked rest stops and SAG support, will offer three scenic, low traffic route options (22, 37 and 62 miles). All proceeds from the event will benefit Relay For Life in its ongoing efforts to combat cancer.
Cost to register for the ride is $30. In addition to traditional bicycles, e-bikes, tandems and recumbents are welcome. An event T-shirt and a post-ride lunch are included in the registration fee.
