We drove by the Norwood Elementary School and observed the new windows that have been installed to replace the old ones.

This is a real step in the right direction for the school occupants in that they will now be more comfortable.

It is the right step for Stanly County in that we will now stop having to pay our tax dollars for energy that was literally “going out the window.”

It is the right step for the planet in that fewer fossil fuels will be contributing to the climate crisis.

Kudos to the School Board for getting this done, and we hope that we will observe new windows at every school house and county office we pass by.
