Stanly County 4-H is here to help everyone get a head start on spring planting this year. It will sell fruit plants and fruit trees.
Stanly County 4-H is taking plant sale orders through Feb. 25. Plant pickup will be at the Agri-Civic Center 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 3.
All proceeds go to 4-H programming for youth in Stanly County.
The 4-H sale is offering a variety of fruit plants including blueberries, muscadines, figs and blackberries. Fruit trees available are: apple, peach, pear, plum and pecan. In an effort to reduce personal contact, it is preferred clients mail in payments and ask all others to bring exact cash or check on pick-up day (no cards will be accepted).
Stanly County 4-H is a program offered through Cooperative Extension that serves youth ages 5-18 by giving youth leadership roles, positive youth/adult relationships and lifelong skills.
