State Winner

Kay Eudy, a veteran of 15 years with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, was honored as Member of the Year of the North Carolina State Government Employees Association.

Youth Services

Greg Poplin was the new director of the Youth Services Agency.

He was looking for adults who had the time and interest to work with young people who have problems relating to others in some respect. The program had about 24 boys and girls who needed assistance and only 10 volunteers to serve. The goal was to be a “Big Brother” or “Big Sister” to the young person.
