Summer is just around the corner. The warm weather, cookouts, family outings and beach trips have already begun. Watch out for children out for vacation. Practice safety around water. New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will host a revival June 23-25 at 7 p.m. The theme for the revival is “Back To The Bible.” The host pastor is Bishop Ronald Carpenter. The speaker will be Apostle Joecilyn Roseboro Wallace, formerly of this community.

Talk Show
J’Rose Talk Show is back. This upcoming event will be July 10 at Resurrection Community Church from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Panelists will include Apostle Lonnie Hall, Pastor Lottie Howell, Elder Deborah Peoples, Rev. Judy Little and Minister Josuana Cuthbertson. Hannah Tateroo (Elder Evelyn Scott) will provide comedic entertainment. A $10 donation is requested. Community
Juneteenth, Celebrate Freedom, will take place in West Badin 12-6 p.m. June 19-20. There will be a parade, food, vendors, music dance contest, basketball tournament, trap and paint, and many more activities. Come celebrate.
Like Father, Like Son Kickball Game will be June 19 at Amhurst Garden. Starting time is 10 a.m.
