Norwood Manufacturing, Inc, a subsidiary of Burnham Holdings, LLC plans to expand its existing facility in Norwood and add five new jobs and invest approximately $700,000 in machinery and equipment within the next three years.
Public hearings for local incentives were conducted on April 5 for Stanly County and April 6 for the Town of Norwood. The goal of local incentives is to encourage new investment and induce job creation.

The Stanly County Economic Development Commission and Stanly County Board of Commissioners extend their gratitude to the Town of Norwood and Stanly Community College for their support.
“On behalf of Stanly County Commissioners, we are pleased to see an existing company grow and need additional equipment, this growth will result in five more jobs for the citizens of Stanly County,” said Bill Lawhon, chairman of the Board of Commissioners.
