The North Carolina Association of Educators’ (NCAE) “We Love️ Public Schools” statewide tour stops in Stanly County at 9 a.m. Saturday as the NCAE RV will roll through Albemarle High School.

There will be giveaways, music, doughnuts and certificates for the school district’s “Lovable Local Leaders,” who will be awarded at 11 a.m.

The “We ️Love Public Schools” tour stops in one county each school day of the spring semester to spread the word on the value of public schools across North Carolina. NCAE’s RV is currently rolling through North Carolina’s Piedmont Region and will finish the semester in the mountains of western NC in May. The RV has stopped in almost 70 counties so far and is on pace to finish visiting it’s 100th county just before schools finish for the summer.

“We are so excited to have Stanly County Association of Educators recognize some Lovable Leaders from across the school district,” said Clarissa Cline, president of the Stanly County Association of Educators. “This has been a year to remember. We are honored to recognize the leaders in each building that have truly risen to the occasion and have been role models for students and other staff. We look forward to bigger and better things next year for our schools, and invite staff and community supporters to reach out to us to get involved.”
