Junior Chamber

The Albemarle Junior Chamber of Commerce had elected Alma Furr to serve as president of the club for the coming year. Other officers chosen were John Parks, first vice president; Joel Ritchie, second vice president; Bill Gantt, secretary; and Dwight Rogers, Jaybird.

The club had met at the new clubhouse beside the city lake and enjoyed a supper meeting. Alf Brown of Concord, a district vice president of Jaycees, was a guest at the meeting.
