Toddler found dead in Norwood

The body of a deceased toddler was found Tuesday afternoon in Norwood.

According to Norwood Police Chief James Wilson, law enforcement officials received a 911 call at approximately 1:30 p.m. The cause of death was still undetermined, but Wilson said the investigation was ongoing and included members of the State Bureau of Investigation.

Wilson said the body of the toddler had been transported to the local medical examiner’s office. He expected to have a preliminary report on the cause of death possibly later Wednesday.
