Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation and United Way of Stanly County will host a Christmas storefront contest.

Beginning on Small Business Saturday Nov. 28 and concluding Dec. 19, downtown businesses are encouraged to decorate their storefronts with festive Christmas displays.

United Way of Stanly County will create an online registration portal for participating businesses, where they can submit photos of their storefronts.

United Way will also promote the participating businesses on social media and encourage people to vote for their favorite. Votes will be cast online on the event portal and cost $1 per vote. The winning businesses will receive prizes and all
proceeds will benefit United Way.

If any downtown business would like volunteer assistance with their storefront, ADDC Design Committee members and United Way volunteers are available for help.
