‘Thank You For Your Service’ pancake breakfast scheduled for Nov. 13

A pancake breakfast raising money for the Stanly County Veterans Relief Fund has been scheduled for Nov. 13 from 7-10 a.m. at two locations across the county.
Hosted by Encounter Christ Church and Stanly County Register of Deeds Suzanne Lowder, the sites for the drive-through breakfast event are at 283 N. Third St., Albemarle, and 113 Gaddis Road, Oakboro.
The breakfast includes two pancakes and bacon for a $5 donation, and veterans can eat free with any military identification. Delivery options are also available and 50/50 tickets will also be available for purchase.
