The following is by Badin Elementary School Principal Damon Rhodes:
The staff at Badin is looking forward to the upcoming school year. The focus will be transitioning our students back to school, whether with face to face or remote instruction.
Badin faces new challenges in the support of the students and staff. The safety of all stakeholders remains of the utmost importance, and new procedures and processes are being developed to insure the health and wellbeing of everyone.
As always, the staff at Badin will deliver a high quality instructional program. Our goal is to challenge students academically while also supporting the social and emotional development of each child.
With the lost instructional time from the previous school year, teachers will provide focused instruction designed to close gaps in reading and math. Badin has a tradition of excellent classroom instruction and academic growth, and the goal for the 2020-2021 school year is to maintain this history while meeting the challenges of a new and changing normal.
Badin is a strong partner with our families and community. We encourage feedback and any suggestions for improvement. Please reach out to any staff member as we begin the new year.
