The following is from Tim Woody, principal of South Stanly High School:
First of all, I am so honored to be the new principal of South Stanly High School. I have feverishly worked alongside the SSHS faculty and staff since July 1, to ensure things are in place for a successful school year. Although it will be a challenge to change things up, with challenge comes opportunity.
We have an opportunity to maximize your time in the building with face to face instruction, while also providing a more structured, student-centered approach with remote learning for the 2020-2021 school year.
I am eagerly awaiting your arrival and look forward to meeting each one of you during the first week. I am encouraged by the reputation of SSHS and how dedicated we are to being “South Stanly Strong!”
Each day will be a new day and we will all work together to make this school year the best ever. In order to do so, we will all need to have a positive approach to the changes and remember we are all in this together.
Finally, I want you to know my door is always open, I am here to work with every parent, guardian, student and staff member to ensure you have a safe and successful school year…Go Bulls!
