The following is from Albemarle High School Principal Emily Shaw. Classes begin Aug. 17.

I am very excited to begin my third year at Albemarle High School.

The leadership team has been working diligently to ensure everything is in place for a successful school year for all students and staff.

Although this school year may not look the same as in the past, I am thankful that we have the opportunity to see students face to face and to enhance our remote learning experience.

I cannot wait to see you all the first week of school to hear about your experiences and adventures since I last saw you.

This school year we will continue to display our rich Bulldog Pride and make this the best school year ever.
