Charlotte grabs a lot of headlines for being the disc golf capital and for good reason.

The Charlotte area’s got 30-plus courses and the biggest disc golf club in the country.

So why would me and my buddies drive an hour to Albemarle to play disc golf?
Simple.

You’ve got two of the best championship courses in the entire state — Fox Chase and City Lake Park — not to mention a great lunch spot, The Goody Shop Cafe.

Just wanted to say thanks to Parks & Rec and the Albemarle Disc Golf Association.
