In an ongoing effort to provide support during the COVID-19 pandemic to the communities where it operates, Michelin North America is donating 700,000 masks to hospitals, medical facilities and essential businesses with a critical need for these supplies.

Michelin donated 10,000 masks to Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle this week.

At the start of this initiative, Michelin launched teams to identify needs in communities across the United States and Canada where the company and its subsidiaries have a strong presence.

Donations will be delivered to the medical communities in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina in the U.S., and Nova Scotia and Quebec in Canada.

Through this initiative, and other efforts by the company, Michelin is playing an active part in the global battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, both by increasing the number of masks it donates to health-care workers in the countries where it operates, and by providing masks to employees across the globe.
