Albemarle Police responded to a burglary/breaking and entering Monday.

Lawn care items such as a leaf blower, chainsaw, weedeater and pressure washer were taken from Albemarle Animal Clinic sometime between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, according to Police Chief David Dulin.

Items taken had an estimated value of around $2,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
