The Stanly Community College Foundation has announced the establishment of the Garmon Mechanical Services Annual Scholarship.

This scholarship will cover all tuition, fees and books for students enrolled in the basic Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology (HVACR) Certificate program at SCC. Students will also have an opportunity to participate in the apprenticeship program with
Garmon Mechanical Services.

“On behalf of the SCC Foundation, I would like to thank Garmon Mechanical Services for their generosity and for providing opportunities to deserving students,” Jeania Martin, executive director of SCC Foundation, said. “We appreciate our donors and all they do to support our students and the College.”

The Garmon Mechanical Services Scholarship will be available for students beginning Fall 2020 semester. The scholarship application can be found at www.stanly.edu. The application will close April 15 for the Fall 2020 semester. Moving forward, the scholarship will be available each fall semester.
