Due to COVID-19, Stanly Community Christian Ministry will go to a drive-through service on Tuesdays and Thursdays for community neighbors to receive food.
All individuals are asked to follow traffic guides when they arrive. Each household will receive approximately two weeks of food. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, SCCM will see clients by appointment only who are in need of financial assistance. Please call the office at 704-982-7519 to schedule an appointment. Donors who are able to drop off food to the pantry can do so on Mondays or Wednesdays. During this time, financial and food donations are critical to the sustainability of SCCM. The SCCM office will be closed on Fridays.
The Norwood Food Pantry is closed. If any residents of Norwood need food assistance and they cannot visit the Albemarle Food Pantry, they are asked to call the SCCM office to make arrangements for them. SCCM is looking for an alternative solution for Norwood residents.
Community Tables, both in Norwood and Albemarle, continue to serve free to-go meals between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Norwood Community Table is open Monday to Saturday. Albemarle Community Table is open every day.
