To help reduce the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect the community and staff, the Stanly County Department of Social Services is practicing social distancing, so the office is closed to the public effective Wednesday.

Many social services programs are implementing modifications to processes to allow the public to access information and services through alternative means such as telephone, mail or email.

Our blue information mail box, located in the Commons, where the public can drop off completed applications or other information, can be accessed using the Commons entrance at the North First Street side of the building. Paper program application forms are available in the revolving magazine display located next to the blue box.
