The boys and girls high school basketball brackets have been released.

In the Yadkin Valley Conference, girls games include No. 1 Gray Stone hosting No. 8 South Davidson, No. 5 North Stanly visiting No. 4 Uwharrie Charter, No. 6 Albemarle visiting No. 3 Chatham Central and No. 7 South Stanly visiting No. 2 North Rowan. These games will be played at 7 p.m. Monday.

For the Yadkin Valley Conference boys games, action begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday with No. 1 Chatham Central hosting No. 8 South Davidson, No. 5 Albemarle visiting No. 4 North Stanly, No. 3 South Stanly hosting No. 6 Uwharrie Charter and No. 7 North Moore heading to No. 2 North Rowan.

The semifinals and finals for these sets of games will be played at South Davidson.

In the Rocky River Conference, No. 1 Forest Hills and No. 2 West Stanly have byes in the girls bracket. Play at 7 p.m. Tuesday includes No. 6 Montgomery Central at No. 3 Central Academy and No. 5 Mt. Pleasant at No. 4 Anson County.

On the boys side, No. 1 Forest Hills and No. 2 Anson County have byes. In play taking place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, No. 3 West Stanly will host No. 6 Central Academy, while No. 5 Mt. Pleasant will head to East Montgomery High to take on No. 4 Montgomery Central.

The semifinals and finals for these games will take place at Pfeiffer University, with West Stanly considered the home advantage.
