Gov. Roy Cooper has appointed Charles Brown of Albemarle as a representative of a tier 1 or 2 county for the North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority.

Brown is a partner with the law firm of Brown, Brown & Brown, PLLC.

He is a Morehead Scholar and has served on the UNC Chapel Hill General Alumni Board and Board of Visitors.
