Mildred Virginia Hahn Talley, 99, of Stanfield, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019.
Mrs. Talley was born June 13, 1919 in Stanly County to the late Lorenzo V. Hahn and the late Dallie Mae Hahn.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Homer Lee Talley.
Homer and Mildred were married for 62 years. Homer passed away on May 3, 1998. Mildred and Homer loved to travel. They toured 49 states together along with Puerto Rico and Canada. Mildred toured Hawaii which gave her all 50 states as well as Ireland, Scotland and Holland. Mildred worked and retired from Stanfield Post Office.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Locust. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Locust officiated by Rev. Dr. Tommy Ross and Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery at 320 South Central Avenue, Locust.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Michael) Moylan of Stanfield and Judy Talley Barbee of Locust; sons, Wendall (Judith) Talley and Mike (Debbie) Talley of Stanfield; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
