Judy Lowder Baker, 69, of Stanfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019.
Judy was born July 28, 1949 to the late James Hugh Lowder and Gertie “Mae” Lowder Hatley.
Judy was a loving wife, mom, nanny, sister and friend.
She was a member of Euto Baptist Church of New Salem.
Taking care of family and friends came natural to Judy. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include beloved husband of 40 years, Daryl Baker; daughter Stephania Mills Hunsucker; son Erik Baker and wife Joanna; grandchildren Selah Hunsucker, Hayden Hunsucker, Ian Stewart and Liam Baker; sisters Ruth Eudy and Debbie Barbee; brothers Pete Lowder and Keith Lowder; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Ave., Midland.
A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by the Rev. Lee Davis of Euto Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which was always Judy’s charity of choice.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Baker family.
