Doris Lee Hardin Tucker, 95, of Badin, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Clear Creek Nursing and Rehab in Mint Hill.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Albemarle.
A burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Doris was born Sept. 16, 1923 in Robeson County to the late Rebecca Eva Allen Hardin and Richard Norman Hardin.
She was a homemaker throughout her life. She attended Badin Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Clyde Tucker.
She is survived by daughters Rebecca Nance (Thomas) of Oakboro, Kay Lynch (Roy) of Mint Hill and Sue Tucker of Stanfield; brothers Richard N. Hardin Jr. (Betty) of Columbia, S.C., and James Bruce Hardin of Mint Hill; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Tucker family.
