Hazel Virginia Lefler, 102, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, March 9 2019 in Trinity Place, Albemarle.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel, Albemarle, with the Rev. Ray Sipe officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the hour of the service.
Born Nov. 19, 1916 in Anson County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar William Lefler Sr. and Esther Brewer Lefler.
She was a retired administrative assistant from the Stanly County Library. She was a member of First Street United Methodist Church.
Ms. Lefler is survived by her sister, Jackie L. Dunlap (William) of Wingate.
She was preceded in death by brother, Edgar Lefler Jr., and sister, Ruby Kincaid, and a number of nieces and nephews.
