South Stanly men win big at home over South Davidson

The South Stanly men’s basketball team evened its record to 6-6 overall and 4-1 in the Yadkin Valley Conference with an 84-68 home win over the South Davidson Wildcats.

Jaquez Cooke and Chandler Lowder each scored 22 to lead the Bulls. Justin Gaddy added 11, including 6-for-6 at the free-throw line.

Thomas Ellington led two in double figures for the Wildcats (1-11, 1-4) with 18 points.
