Deloris Jane Barbee Cody, 75, of Richfield, NC, passed away Saturday October 27, 2018 at her home.
Her funeral service will be 11 Am Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Pauls Crossing Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Church officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 Am until 10:30 Am prior to the service at the church.

Deloris was born January 13, 1943 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late Rayvon Barbee and Ruby Grey Cole Barbee.
She formerly worked in textiles, was a homemaker and had many other talents. Mrs. Cody was a member of Pauls Crossing Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cody is survived by her husband Dewayne Cody of the home. Other survivors a son Sherrill Cody and wife Jennifer of Richfield, NC; daughter Avis Treece of Richfield, NC; brother Paul Barbee and wife Deanna of Albemarle, NC; sister Doris Herlocker of Albemarle, NC; five grandchildren Randy Treece and wife Alison of Richfield, NC, Amanda Treece of Albemarle, NC, Samantha Treece of Richfield, NC, Anna Little of Richfield, NC and Jenna Cody of Richfield, NC and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son in law Jeffrey Treece.
