Dora Eudy Kinley Tucker, 94, of Stanfield passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Her funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, October 7, at Freedom Baptist Church in Locust with Rev. Wally Gilmer officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care in Locust. Burial will follow the service at Bethel Baptist Church in Locust.
Born January 26, 1924 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Jay Brantley Eudy and Iva Elizabeth Barbee Eudy.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Freedom Baptist Church later in life.
Dora worked as a seamstress in several different Hosiery Mills before retiring. After retirement, she managed the Locust Nutrition Center.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by sons Gary Kinley (Brenda) of Stanfield, Tony Kinley of Mt. Gilead, Ronald Kinley (Marion) of Stanfield; step-daughter Jenelle Carroll of Concord; brothers R.V. Eudy of Locust and David Eudy of Midland; sister Annie Kinley of Norwood; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband James A. Tucker; daughter Priscilla “Patty” Kinley Barbee; son Steven Kinley; and step-son Cecil Tucker.
