Drew and Caroline Czerkawski of North Wilkesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Ann Czerkawski, to Christopher Allan (Chris) Skidmore, the son of Kevin and Ann Skidmore of Mooresville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rebecca S. Hubbard of Wilkesboro and the late John W. Hubbard and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ted Czerkawski of Pine Brook, N.J. She is a graduate of Wilkes Central High School and Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education, with a concentration in math, science and technology. Miss Czerkawski is employed by Watauga County Schools as a fourth grade teacher at Parkway School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Craig of Mount Holly and the late Allan Craig and Virginia (Ginny) Skidmore of Albemarle and the late William (Bill ) Skidmore. He is a graduate of Wilkes Central High School and Mitchell Community College.

Mr. Skidmore is a senior at Appalachian State University where he is studying psychology and business and is employed by Appalachian Regional Healthcare System in human resources.

A June 22, 2019 wedding is planned at Fussell Farm in Millers Creek.
