Ruth Morgan Turner, 91, of Albemarle passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in CHS Stanly, Albemarle.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle with Rev. Don Crusenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Born August 19, 1927 in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Richard Morgan and Fannie Troutman Morgan.
She was a former employee of Wiscassett Mills and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She loved to bake and enjoyed making people laugh. She also enjoyed grooming dogs.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lee Turner, and a daughter, Judy Mazine Turner.
Survivors include son Eddie Lee Turner (Becky) of Albemarle, daughter Wendy Dawn Turner of Albemarle, brother Ralph Morgan of Salisbury, sisters Betty Morton of Rockwell and Pearlie Carver of Albemarle, grandchildren Tyler Turner (Tonia) and Myron Turner, great-grandchildren Morgan, Dana, Dillon, Clay and Wade, and sister-in-law Lula Mae Turner of Albemarle.
