CHARLOTTE – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will begin repaving a short section of Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte on Monday.

The improvements will require B & N Grading to close the road between West Sugar Creek Road and Mallard Square Lane for three days while crews mill, pave and paint the road.

The simple detour will direct traffic around a neighborhood of townhomes by utilizing Nevin Drive.

Residents of The Grayson and Mallard Square will be able to enter and leave their neighborhoods as usual.
